I qualified initially to RIBA I, II, and AA Dip at the Architectural Association, but preferring to work solo, I independently practised drawing and painting, subsequently taking a BA and MA in Sculpture at Central St Martins and Camberwell.

 

After years of practising drawing to and from architecture, my sculptural work is generally now focussed on uniting psychological opposites, essentially combining the intellectual and emotional psychological components.  At present these themes are more comprehensively united in geometrical solids with surface figuration which emerges in 3D.

 

I am in the process of applying for a practice-based PhD where I would like to make a landscape garden in virtual reality, with garden fabriques combining the disciplines of sculpture and architecture.
